Lost in Barcelona

I was in Barcelona for a conference towards the end of July, and had hoped to see something of the city.  But the conference was located some way out of the city itself, and so I only spent a couple of evenings in the city, once for a conference dinner, and once for a ceremony.  So my street portraiture was mostly at night on the way to or from these events.

These three women were so lost, they even asked me how to get to wherever they were going!  I knew how to get back to the train station and that was it – not where they wanted to go!

And I loved this graffiti cat, painted by a set of steps that I walked up and down every day at the conference venue.  She (somehow, I thought she was clearly a female cat!) was not in the least lost, just very observant.  I suspect that at night, when nobody is around, she sneaks off and goes on the hunt in the bushes and trees nearby…
